How privacy worksHow it works
Name the rubric and optional learner, define ordered performance levels, and enter criteria with weights and descriptors. Optionally select ratings and include a weighted score in the PDF.
Supported formats
2–6 performance levels, 1–12 criteria, weights totaling 100%; blank or rated PDF rubric; editable JSON backups.
Good to know
Levels are equally spaced: the lowest earns zero and the highest earns full criterion weight. Every criterion needs a rating for a complete score. This does not implement institution-specific assessment policy or collaborative grading.
Worked example
Before
Two criteria weighted 50% each, with four levels; ratings 2 and 3 (zero-based)
After
Weighted score 83.33 / 100
The contributions are 50 × 2/3 and 50 × 3/3. Renaming a level does not change the numeric scoring scale.
Separate descriptors from score policy
Write observable descriptors for each criterion and performance level. Turn off included ratings to print a reusable blank sheet. Adding or removing a level clears ratings because their numeric meaning changes.
Question paper builderTroubleshooting
Why does my rubric show an incomplete total?
At least one criterion is not rated. Select a rating for every criterion to calculate a total, or export a blank rating sheet.
Common questions
Can the lowest performance level earn nonzero points?
This version uses zero-to-full-weight equally spaced levels. If your assessment uses another scale, use the descriptors as a blank rubric and apply your policy separately.
