How privacy worksHow it works
Enter completed assessments with earned marks, maximum marks and their weights in the final course. Calculate the average on entered work, inspect contributions and export a breakdown or editable backup.
Supported formats
Up to 50 assessments; course weights totaling at most 100%; CSV, PDF and JSON exports. Marks and weights support up to six decimal places.
Good to know
Unlisted work is not treated as zero. An average on partial coursework is not a final course result. No extra credit, curves, dropped scores or school-specific rounding rules are modeled.
Worked example
Before
80/100 at 40% course weight; 90/100 at 60%
After
Final weighted result: 86%; contributions are 32 and 54 percentage points
With only the first assessment entered, the average on entered work is 80% and its contribution to the final course is 32 percentage points.
Average and contribution answer different questions
The entered-work average divides earned contribution by the entered weight. The final-course contribution uses the full course denominator. Use grade target calculator separately to work out what is needed on future assessments.

Why is my entered-work average higher than my course contribution?
Only part of the course may be entered. An 80% score on work worth 40% contributes 32 points toward a 100-point final course total.
Common questions
Can weights total more than 100% for extra credit?
