How privacy worksHow it works
Name a task and hourly rate, start a work session and stop it when finished. Choose minute rounding and open the entries as a timesheet or invoice.
Supported formats
Active-tab work sessions; explicit JSON backups; in-memory transfers to timesheet and invoice tools.
Good to know
No automatic saving, background service or account history. Up to 200 sessions, seven days each. Clock changes affect elapsed time. Transfers split local calendar days and round once per session.
Worked example
Before
A 90-second work session with nearest-minute rounding
After
Two billable minutes transferred to a timesheet
Exact milliseconds remain in the tracker backup; the existing timesheet uses integer minutes and currency-precise amounts.
Save your work log before leaving
Stop the timer before exporting a backup or transferring entries. Keep the source tab open until the new tab confirms receipt. Transfers do not put tasks, rates or names into URLs or browser storage.
Timesheet builderTroubleshooting
Why does my short tracked session show zero billable minutes?
Nearest-minute rounding gives zero below thirty seconds. Exact elapsed time is retained; choose round up only when that matches your billing arrangement.
Common questions
Does the tracker keep running after I close the tab?
No active session is saved automatically. Keep the tab open, stop completed work and export a JSON backup before closing.
Can I use this without an internet connection?
Yes, after you prepare this tool from Offline help and the browser retains its assets. Installation is optional. All processing dependencies are bundled locally.
